Newspaper & Magazine Articles

TRIADOPTION® collected thousands of newspaper and magazine articles published during into the 1980's on search, reunion, adoption reform and related topics. The articles were sent into TRIADOPTION® from all over the world. They were microfilmed at the end of  1988 and stored for two decades. In 2008, they were sent to be digitized and then processed as searchable PDF's.

There is a limited index for each volume with an alphabetical listing of persons names, authors, locations, subjects or titles. Other indexes may be added at a later date. It is recommended to utilize the index, find pages and then go to that page. Though there are some rough sections in Book III, there are many articles covering other subjects or topics mixed throughout. Each page has been saved as a searchable PDF, so you can utilize "Find" or "Search" under Edit, type in the word or phrase you are seeking and identify most references for each section. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) does not always identify things correctly, nor work well on poorly copied pages. TRIADOPTION® volunteers did the best they could trying to preserve and make these accessible. Please view these archives in that light. If you create an index that you think would be helpful to others, please submit it.

Originally all carried a copyright. Some indicate the date and publication, but many do not because they were sent in by volunteers and no notation accompanied them. If any item is recognized and its original copyright can be added, please let us know. We would be pleased to identify it origination and reference rightful notice. This site does not claim copyright to any of the Newspaper or Magazine Articles included here. Persons wishing to reproduce or copy any article must contact the original copyright holder for permission.
